hey all ~ it was indeed taken from redcliff, looking back at the D'Aguilar Range mountains where I live ~~ on October the 26th. it was an incredible storm, centred on the mountains, and it died down quite a lot by the time it reached the bay. it was classified as a fullblown tornado with winds of above 200km/h!! trees were ripped out of the ground whole and thrown into neighbouring trees... I was out driving at the time it hit, we had to pull over and could feel the force of the wind lifting the car from underneath ~~ Very Scary Stuff! it was quite an ordeal, hundreds and hundreds of trees knocked down and powerlines everywhere... definitely reminded us of the power of nature and how relatively small we really are

despite their threat, i love storms ~ such beautiful paintings in the sky

was nearly crushed several times by flying trees houses witches, you name it
it was fucking incredible
